1. Who We Are

Dream Job (“Operator”, “we”, “us”) acts as the Personal Information Controller where applicable in relation to personal data processed through Dream Job.

2. Personal Data We Process

• identity and contact details, including name, email, telephone number and city;
• education, qualifications and training;
• employment history, positions, duties, tasks, projects and professional achievements;
• professional skills and declared or assessed skill levels;
• specializations and results of career or skills assessments;
• foreign languages, certificates and portfolio information;
• video business-card information, where provided;
• account and transaction information;
• technical information such as IP address, device/browser information, logs and cookies, where applicable.

3. Purposes of Processing

• creating and maintaining a User account;
• providing Platform functionality;
• matching User profiles with vacancies;
• generating personalized resumes;
• conducting skills or career assessments;
• providing educational recommendations;
• processing payments and preventing fraud;
• security, troubleshooting, analytics and service improvement;
• communicating with Users about the Platform and transactions;
• complying with legal obligations and responding to lawful requests.

4. Lawful Basis and Data Minimization

Personal data will be processed on an applicable lawful basis under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and applicable rules, including consent where required, performance of a contract, legal obligation or another lawful basis applicable to the relevant processing. The Operator will process data that is adequate, relevant, suitable, necessary and not excessive for the declared purpose.

5. Automated Processing and Profiling

The Platform may use automated processing and profiling to compare User information with vacancy requirements and generate personalized resumes or recommendations. The Operator will provide information about the logic involved, significance and envisaged consequences of such processing to the extent required by applicable law. Users may exercise applicable data-subject rights, including the right to object where provided by law.

6. Recipients and Data Sharing

Personal data may be disclosed to service providers acting as processors, including hosting, technical support, analytics and payment providers, where necessary and subject to appropriate safeguards. Data may also be disclosed where required by law or to other recipients where a lawful basis exists and the User has been appropriately informed.

7. Education and Employment Partners

Where the Platform connects a User with an education provider, employer, affiliate or other third party, only data necessary for the relevant functionality should be shared. The applicable privacy notice, consent or other lawful basis will be provided where required. A mere click on an external affiliate link does not by itself mean that the User's full profile is transferred.

8. Retention

Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary for the declared purposes, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security and other lawful retention requirements. Actual retention periods should be specified by the Operator for each relevant category of data.

9. Security

The Operator will implement reasonable and appropriate organizational, physical and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss and other unlawful processing.

10. Data Subject Rights

• right to be informed;
• right to access;
• right to correction or rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• right to object to processing where provided by law;
• right to suspend, withdraw consent, or request blocking/deletion where legally applicable;
• right to data portability where applicable;
• right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission;
• other rights available under applicable Philippine data-protection law.

The Platform may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences and analytics. Where consent is required, an appropriate consent mechanism will be provided.

13. Cross-Border Processing

Where personal data is processed or transferred outside the Philippines, the Operator will implement the safeguards, disclosures and other requirements applicable to the relevant transfer under Philippine law.

14. Changes to this Notice

The Operator may update this Privacy Policy / Privacy Notice when processing practices change or where necessary to comply with law. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate means.

15. Regulatory Framework

This Privacy Policy / Privacy Notice is intended to support compliance with Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), its Implementing Rules and Regulations and applicable National Privacy Commission issuances.
